Relocated to Spain, to assist with a growing organization in dire need of implementing a Continuous Deployment/Delivery strategy.
The strategy is centered on 3 areas: improve our JIRA and Confluence tooling, developing plugins as needed; developing and integrating all kind of services necessary to implement Continuous Deployment/Delivery while working closely with other departments like Performance Testing and Functional Tests Automation; and looking for improvements in the way our developers/engineers work and creating processes and tools that increase the staff performance.
Also, govern a Team of DevOps Engineers geographically distributed, to ensure their inputs on strategy are taken care of, and the priorities are well understood.

Relocated to the Philippines to improve the build and deployments of the Asia business.
In 2014, promoted to Global Head of Build and Deployment Architecture, in charge of a growing global department with staff in Asia and Europe.
Also, I was put in charge of hiring, training and leading a Global Team of DevOps Engineers, which at the time of writing this has around 20 specialists.

Relocated to London due to business needs.
Focused myself for over half year on UK-based projects while still keeping an eye on the global picture.

Joined the company in Operations, diagnosing and fixing production incidents in a pretty much monolithic website.
In 2010 I moved to the Build Management team where we implemented Continuous Integration to support a very fast growing business and the architecture efforts to move to microservices.
In 2011 I was promoted to Deployment Manager, in charge of making deployments smooth and error free, and in charge of fixing and documenting non-production incidents (with an employee reporting to me).

Cofounded a company with 2 more partners. Built the first generation of the software for online retailing from scratch, including a full website, databases, backoffice, infrastructure, business metrics and real-time user tracking.
I was also in charge of customer service, relationships with merchandise providers and freight companies.
We did some side projects for private companies and public institutions (e.g. University of Malaga).
